Mods vs. Rockers...

From two of the most iconic rivals of the 60s and 70s, we're bringing you a slightly different version of Mods and Rockers. Here we have three items for sale as of this weekend, all rare 1970s memorabilia. Our first two are The Jam memorabilia t-shirts, one of them coming from their Setting Sons tour of 1979. For serious collectors or avid fans, these t-shirts have a slightly scooped round neck and are small fitting, sure to bare a bit of midriff, but look classic teamed with a pair of flares or slim fit jeans.

With Paul Weller and The Jam came an unstoppable force that consisted of deafening volume and sharp tailored suits which contrasted with the punk movement of the time. Their songs struck a chord with teenagers all across the UK who were quick to follow the band's look thus forming a new identity for a new generation.
Here is an insightful snapshot of the time that conveys the attitude and driving force of The Jam...

Our third is “The Rocky Horror Picture Show – Time Warp” t-shirt. Handsomely aged, the material is almost paper thin and worn to a pastel orange, from much love. The front says “DISCO SUCKS LET'S DO THE TIME WARP!” with the character Riff-Raff performing the famous dance. On the back there are the instructions on how to do the Time Warp along with diagrams. This t-shirt is a rare find and in excellent condition for its age.

Here's a little reminder...
