Timeless Trench...

At Tearaway, we always aim to provide our customers with wardrobe pieces that will not become 'old fashioned', but fashionably old. One category of clothing that seems to need more investment is outerwear. 

We found this recent image of Kate Moss snapped coming out of the vintage boutique, Rellik, on Golboure Road, London. Worn with a classic black fedora, she looked stylish in her cream trench coat and certainly lived up to her fashion icon status.

"Louis, Louis..."

Louis Féraud (13 February 1921 – 28 December 1999) was a French artist and fashion designer with a career spanning from the 1950s through to today.
After settling down in Cannes, Féraud soon met Brigitte Bardot in 1953 and went on to design the wardrobe for the siren for many of her films. Known for dressing the Parisian Elite, Féraud soon presented his haute couture Fall / Winter collection in Paris in 1958 alongside such iconic couturiers as Lanvin, Givenchy, Dior and Balenciaga.

He was known for his bold geometric patterns and for hiring unknown designers such as Jean-Louis Scherrer, Margit Brandt and Per Spook during the 1960s, giving young talent a chance in the brutal world of fashion.

A striking dark green leather dress, with structured shoulder pads and panelled leather front with cord detailing down the sides.
